Void

What is inside the void?

Is it empty?

What creates an empty experience? Is it even possible?

Beyond the push and pull of semantics and the messy business of naming things, lies that which is already there.

When a conversation quietens down and there is absolute silence, it is possible to try and access what is the quality of silence. Is it uncomfortable? Is it awkward?

A void in a world is engineered as a reminder to what could have been.

What could have been is far greater than what is. A void is a mesh which doesn't have any dimensions. When a mesh doesn't have dimensions, it can't necessarily be seen but that only means that its visibility has a low co-efficient and not that it is not present in some way.

A void is a black hole of experience. It is a package of absences, a space where the shadows of real and surreal presences have gotten together.

What role does a void have in a game world? It is a space which you can step into and step out of at the same time. How does it affect you?

A void is really only a set of sensory impulses that trigger a space for void in the head. Discussions about interiority happen because of the urge to distinguish inside from outside - distinguish the fact that the void is in the head or outside. This differentiation unfortunately helps the validation of experience. Stuff happening outside is no less real than the stuff happening inside. There is no way of looking at the world that can render the fact as an obvious piece of information.

As a quick backtrack: What is real? That which is seen or sensed? Or that which is real in thought and might or might not be real in sight or sensation. The reason that this does not have any fixed answer that it is a deliberately-worded misleading question. It makes you think that there is something about how things exist in the world but there is something just about how you look at the world. In perception, either something becomes real or a mirage.

Voids are real in the head. So for many, they do not exist. For some, there is no possibility of any emptiness in the world, there is no possibility space that is unoccupied. And in this thought they state their reluctance to acknowledge the void they perceive in their head as real.

The void that we perceive in our heads feels like it is a space which has escaped the process of rationalisation of energy that happens in a recurrent manner. The rationalisation of energy can be defined as a process that can be described as a means of ensuring that the distribution of the charmed energy is equal across the surface of the planet.

The voids have escaped this process. The voids ensure that some places and some moments are special and and some are not. The spaces that we experience as spacial are just voids. Voids have taken our our world through spaces for trauma and peace. People try to soak in voids through their skins, to build up their reservoir of peace which can nurture them. But it does not work this way, voids can be barely experienced, but never stored. Just remaining sensitive to the void is a big enough deal. Otherwise nothing works.

Voids have an after-taste. Every time the triggers work, every time we hold a void in our head, we enter a pocket of time that is has a different character than before. This characteristic lingers and we have an experience that lingers for many moments forward and before it peters out, it spews a hunger for itself. Voids spawn themselves into being.
